Like brother Like Sister

So I lately geoffrey has had an interest in Mercedes bed and he knows how to get up into it by himself. Well mercedes is always in her bed reading. so I guess geoffrey wanted to do it to and this how I found him the other day. He even had the blankets pulled up. He is always wanting to do what his sister is doing.

Reading about the Incredibles. The funny thing is this movie is a very big hit in our house. If I would let them watch it as much as they wanted we would watch it in the house all day long and in the car when we are in there too. They love that movie.

Just flipping through the pages.

The Bowl

So Geoffrey was having fun playing with this bowl and he thought he was pretty funny.

Here he is hiding from me.

Peeking out the side of the bowl.

Can you see me now. I don't know why we ever buy kids anythings, They always seem to like the things that we already have.

Mercedes Reading

So I one morning I found mercedes reading to Zoie and Elmo. She asked me if she could read and I told her sure and this is where I found her.

Don't they look interested in the book.

IPOD Man

Geoffrey thinks that it is fun to play with my old ipod. That story will come later. But I have loaded all of the kids song on it so whenever he sees it he tries to put the cords in his ears. He think that he is such a big boy now.

Listening to music

Trying to figure out how it works.

Blue and Green Mouth

So if mercedes does good at going potty she gets a special treat. That special treat is Lick a Stick. She loves them. She thinks it is really funny when it makes her mouth all different colors.

I told her to show me her mouth and this is what I got.

Fire Station Trip

Today we went to the fire station for play group. They got to see the fireman get all dressed up. Which most of the kids did not like. While we were there we saw 2 of there engins take off on calls. So the kids got to see them drive away with there lights and sirens on. Mercedes did not like it when the fireman put his mask on she said that he was scary. Hopefully when she is a little older she will understand more. But they had a fun time. After we went to sonic of ice cream and then we went to the park to play. All of the kids had a fun time. Here we are waiting to go on the tour.

Here is the whole group. See how mercedes is hiding. She did not want to get close to him at all.

Just another one of the group. The kids were not able to climb on the fire trucks so we did not get very many pictures. Hope you enjoy.

Potty Adventures

So we have been trying really hard to get mercedes potty trained so we spend alot of time in the bathroom. Well sometimes it takes her forever so I was off doing something and I hear mercedes calling me. I come hoping that she is going to tell me that she had gone but instead she is like look. Yup they both took the whole roll of toliet paper off.

This is when Geoff was mad that he could not move because he had piled it up all around him.

Playing with it after it was all off.

These are the joys of potty training and being a mother.

Climbing boy

Geoff has been into climbing alot. When he gets up he gets really mad because he can not get down. He just stands there and yells for me. Well he was not happy that I wanted to take a picture before I got him down.

Static Electricity

Don't you just love how your hair gets when you jump on a trampoline. This was when we went home to Canada in Oct. She loved that her hair was going all over the place Supper Hair

She thought that it was so funny she kept wanting to make it bigger.

Trying to get it to stand up higher.

Just having fun on the trampoline. We had a hard time getting her off of here.

Ice and Snow

Well the last couple of days have been cold here. We have had freezing rain which then turned into snow over night. Mercedes was so happy to see it. These are a couple pics that I took. This one of the branches in our front yard. I think that it looks really cool.

Another Branch

Here is all of the ice on the power lines

And here is the pitiful snow. Can you believe that school was cancelled for this.
