Fun Run

This summer Mercedes was really intersted in running while Geoff was running. So Geoff decided to take her in the morning with him. She would get up at 7 and run with him every morning and then they decided to work up to do a fun run which is 1 mile long. She was really excited about this. We got her new shoes and some workout clothes and they got started. They ran in our neighborhood which is pretty hilly. The day of the race came and Mercedes was so excited. It was a very Hot and Humid morning.

After the race all of the kids were given a metal that ran in the race.

She did a very good job for how hot it was. She never stoped running the whole time. I was very proud of her.
