So sweet

I always love it when the kids are asleep. They look so peaceful and it is when I usually get some peace and quiet. These are when Mercedes was sleeping.

Rocker Mercedes

So for christmas mercedes got a gift card to toys r us and she wanted a guitar. She has been talking about guitars for a long time now. Well when we got it home she was like look mom I'm a rocker.

Christmas Number 2

Well this is our second Christmas and it was in Maryland with Geoff's family

This is Mercedes Christmas Eve. She loved to just sit and watch the Christmas tree. We were all running around getting ready to go to Geoff's Aunt and Uncles house and this is where I found Mercedes.

Geoff with his new ball. He really loves Balls and anything that looks like one. He loves to throw them. He even likes to throw oranges.

Geoff playing with his new Tomas the Train Set. Mercedes and Geoff got this for Christmas and it was a big hit. They loved playing with it.

Tri Bycicle

Grandma and Grandpa Redford got Mercedes a tricycle for Christmas and she was so excited. She kept calling it a bicycle and we were trying to explain to her that it was a tricycle because it had 3 wheels so then she started calling it a tri bycicle. We thought that that was cute. She was a little nervous at first but now she loves it. It is probably the prettiest tricycle that I have ever seen.

This was when she first got on it. She was not quite sure about it.

Mercedes loves to dance and for her birthday she got a ballerina costume and she loves it.

Christmas Number 1

This year the kids were very spoiled they got 2 Christmas's we had one at our house before Geoff left and then we had one at Grandma and Grandpa Anderson's house. Mercedes was a little confused she kept asking if everyday was Christmas. I had to try and explain it to her.

This is Mercedes and Little Geoff playing in the tent that Mercedes got for Christmas. This was a last minute buy the day before and it was probally the most favorite. She even had a nap in it that day. She really enjoyed playing in it.

So Tired

There have been many times when mercedes is so tired that she just falls asleep in many different places. I finnaly remembered to take some pics before I put her to bed. This was when she was in time out and she just could not take it anymore and fell asleep.

This was at Grandma Anderson's she had told me that she wanted to watch her show in the kitchen so I put it on and then it all of a sudden got really quiet and this is where I found her

Just another view of her sleeping. There are many more times when she has just fell asleep. I think that we all have pics of ourselves sleeping somewhere weird.

Mercedes Birthday

I know this is a little late but I have been a little busy. This was on mercedes birthday which was the 5th of December She had a Princess cake with the army men taking them hostage.

This is when we were singing to her she loves to sing happy birthday and she thought that it was great that we were singing to her.

Opening Gifts, She got so excited about all of her gifts. Over all she had a good birthday. For lunch she had her favorite thing which is Broccoli, Noodles and Chicken. AKA Chinese Food and then she got her party so she was in heaven.

Build a Bear

A while ago we decided that we were going to take the kids to build a bear before geoff left for Afganistan so they could have something from daddy while he was gone. Geoff also recorded them a little message to put in the bear. This is the bear that Mercedes decided that she wanted

Here she is stuffing her bear. She thought that it was cool that when she pushed the button the fluff went into the bear.

Little Geoff thought that it was more fun to push all of the hearts as they lit up.

ICE

Last Saturday we went to Nashville for the day. We have been wanting to go to the Ice down at Opryland Hotel. This year we finnaly got to it. It was so cool. They gave us all coats and then we went through a door and it was FREEZING COLD. This year was the How the Grinch Stole Christmas. We were told that they start making the ice sculpters back in Oct and they are there until Jan. They did a really good job I could not believe that everything was ice. Here is Mercedes in front of Cindy Lou Who. We called her that when she always had pigtails when she was younger.

They had slides that you could go down. They even had them for the adults. The first time mercedes went down she did not get enough momentum and went so slow. I thought that she did not like it. As soon as she got off she was like "do it a again" and that is what she said for about 5 more times. She loved it.

They are waiting for mercedes to go down the slide. Little geoff looked so funny all bundled up. He could not move his arms.

All in all we had a really good time.
