Here are some pics of the things we did in the month of June.

At the cabin this was Mercedes bed. She called it the bear house because there were bear decorations all over.

Mercedes wanted to go with them. They went on a hike that took them about 3 hours and she sang and told them that they had to be quiet because the bears, lions, tiger and snakes and lizards were sleeping. She is so funny sometimes

Busy Busy Busy Summer

Well we have had a very busy summer this year. It started in June when Geoff's parents came down for a week and we rented a cabin in the smoky mountains. That was alot of fun. Then in the month of July the kids and I went up to Maryland to stay with Geoff's parents while Geoff was at NTC for the month. Then we were here for about 2 weeks and then My family came down for about a week and a half. We rented a cabin in the smokies and we went to an amusment park called Holiday World in Santa Clause Indiana. We had alot of fun. Then comes Sept. Geoff get promoted to Captain on Monday. We are so excited. Well I will be putting pics up from all of the fun that we had.

July 4TH

For the 4th this year we went to the fireworks on post. That was alot of fun. Mercedes is still not sure what to think about them. She likes to look at them but she does not like how loud they are. Not sure what to think of them

Canada Day

Well since we could not be in Canada for Canada Day we dressed up for it here. Mercedes thought that it was fun that she was in the same shirt as Geoffrey.

Watching TV

I had just finished feeding Little Geoff and put him next to mercedes walked back in the room and they were both stareing at the tv.

This what he looks like when he is excited to see me. Which is usually always. He is such a momma's boy.

Grandma Anderson brought the bat and ball when she came and visited and Mercedes loved it she called it the ball game. She had fun playing with grandma with it. She actually hit it a couple of times.

Building the fence

Here we are building our fence. We are so excited to finally get it done. The dogs are alot happier that they can be outside. We are happier because we have alot more privacy. It has been alot of work but it is worth it.

I think this was the worst part. Mixing 37 bags of concrete for each post. Oh and digging the hols with the ogger in the rain.

Cutting Trees

We have been cutting down trees to get ready to put a fence up since our great dane has decided that he wanted to jump the last fence.

Here are just some of the huge logs that we have we have a pile just as big in the backyard too.

This happened with the last tree that we cut down. It caught the corner of the house. The only thing it ruined was the trim and gutters so no big deal. The adventures of owning a house
